For independent B2B prospectors

Find businesses and decision-makers with sources you can check

When your next customer is a specific kind of business, a list of search links is not enough. GenPilot works from your brief to identify businesses and people, retain the supporting sources, and separate useful prospects from results that still need checking.

What matters

  • Describe the business, location and decision-maker you need
  • Distinguish target fit from evidence of buying intent
  • Review attributable contacts instead of guessed emails
  • Start with one free standard search, without an account

Make the buyer list specific, not just large

Start with business type, service area, size where it matters, and the role you want to reach. Add exclusions such as franchises, competitors or online-only sellers. If a named owner is essential, make that requirement explicit; a company contact page is not the same thing.

For example, a booking-software seller could research independent bicycle repair shops around Bristol. Being a repair shop establishes target fit. It does not establish that the shop needs new software or wants a sales email.

Keep the contact and its source together

A company website, staff page, professional profile or directory may expose different contact routes. Check which business or person the source actually attributes a phone, email or profile to. A published contact is not proof of deliverability, consent or a decision-making role.

GenPilot shows available source evidence and criteria that remain uncertain. Some searches return a company contact page or telephone rather than a personal email. Do not treat these as interchangeable or fill missing details with a guessed email pattern.

Standard first, deeper when the evidence warrants it

The free anonymous trial uses standard search and can show up to five results, including clearly labeled candidates for review. It may find fewer or no matches. Create an account to keep the search and continue working with its results.

Pro deeper search can continue through up to three rounds, within a stated research budget. It looks for additional candidates and checks newness between rounds; it does not guarantee a larger shortlist or turn missing evidence into a fact.

  • Review the brief before spending a search
  • Open the original source for important claims
  • Treat fit scores as proposed assessments, not independent verification
  • Choose whether to copy or export results and prepare a first message

Try this brief

Find independent bicycle repair shops in Bristol, UK, or within 20 km. I sell appointment-booking software. Exclude national chains and online-only retailers. Identify a named owner or manager only where a public source supports the role; otherwise retain the business with its public company contact path. Cite sources for the business, location and contact. Do not infer purchase intent or guess emails.

Questions

Will every prospect include a named person and email?

No. Contact availability varies by business and source. You may receive a public company contact route, a phone number, or a candidate requiring further research. A public email is not a deliverability guarantee.

Is this useful without a recent buying signal?

Yes, for building a relevant account list. Keep that separate from demand research: a business matching your criteria is not evidence that it plans to buy. Add a supported trigger if timing is essential.
