What matters

  • A named business is different from an article or directory page
  • Published company contacts are not owner-email verification
  • A chain can be real and contactable but still be the wrong prospect
  • Source-supported category fit does not establish buying intent

An invented demonstration brief

Imagine you are looking for independent commercial cleaning companies in a chosen region, with a public company contact route. Exclude national chains. A named owner is optional and must have a supporting source.

This is a fictional teaching example, not an actual GenPilot run. The business names, records and evidence descriptions below are invented. No customer data or measured results are used.

Example A: a company contact is not an owner email

Imagine that Example Local Cleaning has a company page describing its services, a business address and a general contact form. Those hypothetical pages would support separate service, location and contact checks.

They would not prove who owns the company, whether a message will receive a reply, or whether the business needs your service. Mark those questions unknown. Do not label a general contact route as a direct owner contact.

Example B: contactable does not mean a good fit

Imagine that Example National Cleaning publishes a relevant local branch and a company phone number, but its own site identifies it as part of a national chain.

That business would fail the demonstration brief’s chain exclusion. A public contact route cannot override an explicit requirement. Keep the reason visible rather than presenting it as a qualified lead.

Apply the method to your own research

For a real prospect, open the actual source and check which claim it supports. Keep identity, fit, role and contact evidence separate. Resolve important unknowns before outreach.

These fictional records establish no result count, accuracy, deliverability or sales performance. They illustrate a review method only. Customer searches, contacts and outcomes are not public marketing examples.
