How it actually works

01

Describe your prospect

Name the business, location, decision-maker and what makes a good match. GenPilot turns your goal into an editable search plan.

02

It goes and looks

Reads public sources to identify people, businesses and opportunities. Coverage and available contact details vary by search.

03

Check the fit

Shows proposed fit scores, supporting evidence and uncertain criteria. Where the checks allow it, prepares a first email for your review.

04

Review, then send

Review and copy your draft to send yourself. Gmail scheduling is in limited beta while Google reviews the integration; replies stay in Gmail.

A shortlist you can question, not just a list you can download.

  • Source-backed candidates
People and businesses proposed from public sources, with evidence and gaps for you to check.
  • Written for you
A first email in your voice, referencing what it found about them.
  • Ranked by fit
Every lead scored, so you spend your time on the ones worth chasing.
  • Reviewed outreach
Review every first email before sending. Invited Gmail testers can schedule messages and see sent history in Conversations. Replies stay in Gmail.
  • Your criteria
Describe your target, required evidence and exclusions. Other search workflows remain available.
  • Clear pricing
Start with 25 leads a month for free, then upgrade to flat-rate Pro when it earns its keep.

AI lead generation, answered

What is GenPilot?

GenPilot is a B2B prospect research tool for independent prospectors, consultants and small agencies. Describe the businesses or decision-makers you need, inspect the source evidence and unknowns, then prepare a relevant first message.

How is it different from Apollo or Clay?

Apollo and Clay also offer AI research and automation. GenPilot focuses on a smaller, guided workflow: describe an opportunity, review the source evidence and fit, then prepare outreach. See our comparisons to decide which workflow fits your needs.

Can I use it beyond B2B sales?

Yes. Other supported search workflows include contract work, jobs and partnerships. The main prospecting workflow focuses on researching relevant businesses and people; coverage depends on the sources available for your brief.

Does a matching business mean it wants to buy?

No. Matching your target industry or location is not proof of purchase intent. If you need a recent project or buying signal, include it in your brief and check the evidence. Unknown criteria remain uncertain.

Is there a free plan?

Try one standard search without an account or credit card. A free account includes one active lead search and 25 leads per month. Pro is $20 per month or $150 per year, with higher limits and deeper search.

Does it write the cold emails too?

Review and approve your first emails, then choose a sending schedule. Gmail sending is currently available to test accounts while Google reviews the integration. Conversations shows scheduled and sent messages; replies stay in Gmail for now. Follow-ups are not sent automatically. You can always copy a draft or open it in your email app.
